Goa: Goa is India’s smallest state by its geographical area and the fourth smallest by population. The state has been a very important historical and cultural centre since ancient times. In a Hindu scripture Mahabharata it is referred as Gopakpattan or Gomant and in Sutra- Samhita it was mentioned as Govapuri. Located on India’s West coast, Goa is a former Portuguese colony with prolific history. The state has unique blend of Indian and Portuguese culture, art and architecture that pulls approx 2.5 millions (wiki) tourists every year. And hence Goa is visibly different from the rest of India.
The magical land of Goa is a land of celebrations and festivities. Snuggled in the Konkan Coast Belt, It has a long coastline of approx 100 kilometers. Goa is primarily known for its beautiful beaches which are engrossed with oscillating palm trees and an astonishing nightlife. It is a wonderful place embraced by joy & happiness only. However, apart from beaches there is much more in Goa. It is such a destination that combines the charm of the old world fashion with exoticism of the new age. And this is the reason why Goa has always been visited by a huge number of national and international tourists each year. Goa is one such captivating tourist destination in India which has something to offer to every enthusiast traveler coming here, nevertheless of budget and varying travel habits. It is also a popular honeymoon destination. The real beauty of Goa lies in its beautiful beaches, places of worship and world heritage architecture. It also has bountiful flora and fauna, owing to its location on the Western Ghat Range and it is classified as a biodiversity hotspot.

Start from your location towards Mumbai.
Day 02: In Train
Full day and night in train.
Day 03: Arrival in Mumbai
As you will arrive at Mumbai airport, our tour representatives will assist you to the pre-booked hotel. Check-in and relax at the hotel. Your rest of the day is free to spend at own leisure. In the evening, you can visit the beach, try some local food or go shopping in vibrant markets. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04: Mumbai
Start the day with a lavish breakfast in the morning. Later, leave for sightseeing in Mumbai. The entire day you will cover the best tourist sights of the city. Start with a visit to UNSECO world heritage site Elephanta Caves in the Elephanta Caves. Move on to explore the Prince of Wales Museum, Hanging Garden, Juhu Beach, Gateway of India and more. Lastly, pay a visit to the Marine Drive. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 05: Mumbai – Goa
Check out from the hotel after having delicious breakfast. Proceed towards Mumbai airport to board the flight for Goa. On your arrival at Goa, meet one of our tour representatives. Get assistance with transfer to pre-booked hotel for stay. You are free for rest of the day. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 06: North Goa
Wake up early in the morning and have a delicious breakfast. Visit the charming beaches of Goa such as Calangute, Dona Paula, Miramar, and Baga Beach. You can explore historical Old Goa Churches and Fort Aguada. Enjoy sightseeing tour of old Goa. Get blessings at Cidade De Goa, Basilica Bom Jesus, Church and Convent of Francis of Assisi, Church of Saint Cajetan, Church of Saint Monica, and Museum of Christian Art. Later, explore treasures of the Solar Souto Maior, Fontainhas, and Panjim. Proceed to taker a walk around the vibrant markets of Panjim. While shopping, indulge in the savory tastes of local cuisines. Take a break from the days’ sightseeing for lunch, which is not included in the price of the tour. Afterwards, visit Baga Beach and enjoy the water-sport activities. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 07: South Goa
Start the day with mouthwatering breakfast in the morning. Later, pay a visit to the scenic beaches of South Goa. Get blessings at Mangueshi and Shanta Durga Temples. Later, proceed for a visit to Margao, the headquarters of South Goa. End the day’s sightseeing with a visit beautiful Menezes Braganza House in Chandor. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 08: Departure from Goa
Today is the last day of Mumbai Goa Tour. In the morning check-out from hotel and get transferred to the VSG railway station for your return journey.
Day 09: In Train
Full day in train , reach Howrah at 23.25.
Day 10: Back
Return back to your home early in the morning.

Bus services ply regularly between Mumbai and cities like Bengaluru, Surat, Nashik, Pune, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Mangalore, Kochi and Goa. Some bus operators have their own websites to facilitate booking of tickets.
In Summer
Summers in Maharashtra set in the month of March and extend till May. These months are the hottest with temperatures hovering between 22°C-39°C. During this period, thunderstorms are a lot common and are witnessed by almost the entire state.
In Monsoon
Monsoons here begin in the month of June and retreat by the month of September. The month of July is the wettest, and August too witnesses substantial rains. Monsoon season is not considered an apt time for a travel to this destination, as heavy rainfall disrupts outdoor activities.
In Winter
November to February, Maharashtra witnesses winters. This season is apt for spending an enjoyable vacation. With temperatures hovering between 12°C-34°C, the weather remains extremely pleasant.
